Lost in stitches

We have literally been lost in stitches....so many fabrics and so little time. Hard to believe that we are rounding into our 5th year of Fauxy Western Wear. We haven't hit the "big time" yet...going to save that for a rainy day...but we are seriously busy. So busy it's on the verge of crazy. Can crazy be good? YOU BETCHA!
We've branched out into the world of Rodeo Queen Wear. Such a fascinating world of fashion when it comes to rodeo queens. These ladies aren't just poofy hair and big smiles...they have taste. They are true fashionista's!!! They hard to ladies to keep up with.
Some of our recent queenies (as we will refer to them as) have been very successful. They have done us proud and wore our creations with class. Okay, beyond class. Seriously, these queenies are something else.
We've had Kirsten Braumandl from Williams Lake wear two dress to the Miss Rodeo Canada pageant - where she was also crowned Miss Rodeo Canada Princess! She was absolutley stunning in her fuschia pink fringed dress, but the show stopper was her rich eggplant off the shoulder mermaid....it was breathtaking.

Spring 2011 brought us to meet a super sweet young lady from Langley, BC. She was a shy, dark haired beauty who reminded me of the Disney character Snow White. She had that aura about her. There was beauty inside and outside. She came to purchase a dress to wear at the BC High school rodeo queen contest. And did we have the perfect dress for her. A medium steel blue that was embroidered perfectly with silver grey and powder pink gerber daisies. Perfectly matching ultrasuede fringe and hundreds of swarovski rhinestones completed this dress. She was a stunning, confident lady in her dress...just look at her in this picture and you can see why. Congrats Emma McFarland on being the newly crowned BC High School Rodeo Queen!!!
